Acrylic Paints: I recommend:​

• Liquitex, Heavy body acrylic paint

• Liquitex glazing medium

Colors:

• Titanium White large tube.

• Cobalt Blue

• Phthalo Blue

• Cadmium  Red Medium

• Alizarin Crimson or Permanent Rose

• Cadmium Yellow Medium

• Turner's Yellow

• Yellow Oxide

• Burnt Sienna 

• Burnt Umber

• Sap Green

Canvas board or Stretched canvas

I recommend 9" x 12" or  no bigger than 11"x 14"

Brushes:

• Filbert #4, #10

• Bright # 2, #8

• Round #2/0, #2, #10 
   

 

Palette: There are many palettes available for acrylic painters. Some are "Stay Wet" palettes that help you save your paint. If you are on a tight budget you can use a plastic, glass or ceramic plate. All three will wash up nicely after use.
